Bilong Temple used to be called the "Tortoise
Temple", where the "Tortoise Rock" with Eight Diagrams on its back is enshrined.
That’s why it is also called the "Patriarch of Eight Diagrams". In the
beginning, folks who worshiped "Tortoise Rock" were magically healed.
Therefore, Yingge locals believe the "Tortoise Rock" is very efficacious.
Besides, this temple is located on the best
site for viewing scenery during the day and stars at night. Furthermore, the
tortoise-shaped image that recently appeared on the "God Tortoise Rock" at the
junction of the road has further added to the mystic of the Bilong Temple. It
has become one of the most important landmarks of Yingge.
